A special pleasure is an evening walk along Opatija's famous promenade called Lungomare, which stretches along the immediate coast of the azure sea on one side to Opatija and on the other to Lovran. Walking along the promenade, you enjoy breathing in the mild Mediterranean air that mixes with the mountain air that descends from the Učka mountain, a national park. If you are a fan of walking and hiking along the path from Opatija, you can climb to the top of Učka.
