In the vicinity of the island only 30 km there is the town of Sibenik and the Krka National Park. Vrana Lake Nature Park is 40 km away from the house. The starting point is to visit the Kornati National Park by boat. Public transport and taxi are available. Bicycles, boat, kayak,… can be rented. The island of Murter is the largest and most populous island in the Šibenik archipelago, separated from the mainland by the narrow Murter Channel, over which a 12-meter-long drawbridge was built in Tisno. This beautiful island has four settlements, Murter, Betina, Jezera, and Tisno, and has been inhabited for almost two millennia.
