Apartment "Urban Nature" is located in a quiet, newly built street not far from the center of the town of Otočac. Situated close to the shopping center of Plodine, within walking distance of the museum, sport center, tourist office, bus station, health center and pharmacy, and local restaurants within a few minutes drive by car. Next to the apartment there is a open terrace with a grill and with view of the hill where Fortica's historic fortress is located. Guests can use the free Wi-Fi (WiFi), Smart TV, satellite TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine that is only available to guests, and parking in the area of the property. The room is equipped with two removable beds and a living room with a sofa for two additional persons. It is possible to arrange the use of a baby cot. An air conditioning unit is installed in the apartment. The surrounding area is popular among hikers and cycling enthusiasts. Apartment Urban Nature is, also, a "bike friendly" accommodation. We have safe place (ground floor garage) where we can accommodate the bikes and equipment of our guests. Apart from the space of the apartment (living room, kitchen, bathroom and room) guests can also use laundry room where is a washing machine, iron, ironing board and stand for laundry drying.

An interesting fact is that the city was never conquered by the Turks, who have for centuries posed a threat. It was an important defensive stronghold until the 18th century. After passing of the Turkish threat, Otočac started to develop commerce, trade, forestry, wood, and textile industry. Today Otočac has about 10,000 inhabitants and slowly draws tourists from around the world for its pristine nature and river Gacka, the unique and cleanest river in Europe.
